    In Turkey, the challenges faced by SMEs in access to finance for investments and working capital are sought to be overcome through different financial models.

    In this context incentives, supports, long-term low-interest loans with grace periods, leasing and international projects are among the applied practices.

    The Directorate General for Strategic Research and Productivity of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and KOSGEB have cooperation to oversee the provision of support for the financing of investments by SMEs who are willing to replace their inefficient motors with high energy-efficient motors under the TEVMOT Project.

    The “Energy-Efficient Electric Motors Replacement Support” commenced under the KOSGEB SME Development Support Programme can be accessed via the TEVMOT project by SMEs – which

    • operate in one of the seven Pilot Organized Industrial Zones (OIZs),
    • have completed preliminary and detailed energy audits approved by the Project Management
    • agreeing to deliver their inefficient motors to the project free of charge for recycling
    • are willing to replace their inefficient motors with the high energy efficient motors and
    • are member (registered) companies of KOSGEB.

    Üst limiti firma başına 80.000 TL olan “Enerji Verimli Elektrik Motorları Değişimi Desteği” ile etüt raporlarında değiştirilmesi ön görülen motorlara yönelik harcamalar bölge ayrımsız %60 oranında desteklenecektir. Yeni satın alınan enerji verimli elektrik motorlarının “Yerli Malı Tebliği”ne uygun olarak alınmış yerli malı belgesi ile tefrik edilmesi durumunda, belirlenen destek oranlarına %15 (onbeş) ilave edilir.

    TEVMOT Projesi kapsamında yaygınlaştırma aşamasında farklı finansman modelleri oluşturularak KOBİ’lerin enerji verimli motor değişimleri yatırımlarının hızlandırılması sağlanacaktır.
