The Second Series Of “Motor Systems Audit” Training Provided Under TEVMOT Completed
A training on “Efficient Motor Applications and Motor Audit Methodology” was held on 12–15 October, 2020, with the aim increase the technical capacity and practical skills of the authorised Energy Efficiency Consulting companies (EVDs) and the personnel working as energy auditors in these companies, as well as of the engineers working in the Energy Management Units (EMUs) of the pilot Organised Industry Regional Directorates in the project and relevant engineers from the motor manufacturers in the sector, and to enhance, in turn, the quality of the motor audits at the SMEs.
The training was organised online on the TEVMOT Facebook page and addressed the methods and reporting processes to be applied in the electric motor efficiency audits to be carried out by EVDs. Delivered by Bill Meffert and Erik Gudbjerg – two well-known international experts in energy efficiency and energy management systems in the sector, the training combined such interactive components as questionnaires, tests, assignments, online group works and a final exam.
