The First Series Of “Motor Systems Audit” Training Provided Under Tevmot Completed
A training was provided under TEVMOT to increase the technical capacities and practical skills of authorised Energy Efficiency Consulting companies (EVD) and the personnel working as energy auditors at these companies, and to enhance, in return, the quality of the motor audits at SMEs operating in the industrial sector.
The “Motor Systems Audit” training was provided online over Zoom, with the first of the series being held over four days on 7–10 July, 2020, with the participation of 22 engineers from EVDs and one representative each from the Energy Efficiency and Management Association (EYODER) and the Electric Motors Industrialists Association (EMOSAD).
Bill Meffert and Erik Gudbjerg – two well-known international experts in energy efficiency and energy management systems in the sector – designed the four-day course, which combined interactive methods such as questionnaires, tests, assignments, online group works and a final exam. This was the first technical training provided under TEVMOT in our country in the field of technical expertise. All of the materials and live broadcasted videos of the training are in the public domain, both in Turkish and English, accessible from TEVMOT’s social media accounts (https://www.facebook.com/tevmot/).
