Gürsu Sezen Torun

Ms.Torun graduated from the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Sociology of METU in 2005 and 2006, respectively. She is continuing her doctoral studies in the field of industrial sociology in the Department of Sociology of METU. She started her career as an assistant specialist at the National Productivity Centre in 2007, where she worked as a Productivity Specialist. Since the transfer of the Centre to the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2011, she has been working as an Industry and Technology Specialist in the Directorate General for Strategic Research and Productivity. Among her main areas of expertise are clean production, energy efficiency in industry, labour mobility and qualitative research methods. She has contributed to the development and implementation of various projects/programmes throughout the country and is continuing in her work as the TEVMOT Project Coordinator.
Fatma Çil
Ms.Çil obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography of Ankara University, and a master’s degree in International Relations from Ufuk University. Çil earned her second master’s degree in the field of Environmental Policy from University College Dublin with a Jean Monnet Scholarship, and is continuing her doctoral studies in the Department of Social Environmental Sciences of the Institute of Social Sciences of Ankara University. She has worked as an Air Traffic Controller, and as a Translator before being assigned as an assistant specialist to the National Productivity Centre in 2004. Since the transfer of the Centre to the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2011, she has been working as an Industry and Technology Specialist. Among her main areas of expertise are project management, clean production and energy efficiency. She is currently working as a team member both in the TEVMOT Project and in the National Coordination Office of Asian Productivity Organisation (APO), to which Turkey became a member in 2020.
Özge Renklidağ
Ms.Renklidağ graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering of Dokuz Eylül University in 2001. She obtained her master’s degree in Industrial Engineering for her study of the “Project Management in the Procurement Process” in 2007. From 2001 to 2013, she worked in various positions in different institutions and companies, including ASELSAN A.Ş., the Ministry of National Defence and Indesit Company, specialising in project management, R&D Centre coordination, Bill of Materials and Documentation Management, and Purchasing/Procurement. She has also worked as an International Senior Consultant under the project “Increasing Energy Efficiency in Industrial Enterprises” carried out jointly by the Turkish Ministry of Energy, UNDP, UNIDO, KOSGEB, GEF and TSE between 2015 and 2017 to establish the “ISO 50001 Energy Management System” in seven institutions, and provided guidance to companies operating in the carpet, textile, packaging, chemistry, cement and gypsum sectors. She was granted Industrial Energy Audit Expert and Energy Manager certificates in 2014, and a Buildings Energy Audit Expert certificate in 2017. She worked as a freelance Project Manager, an ISO 50001 Energy Manager, an Energy Efficiency Consultant and an ISO 50001 Management System Auditor from 2014 to 2020, and joined TEVMOT as a Project Field Coordinator in September 2020.
Meltem Üzel
Ms.Üzel graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Relations of Başkent University in 2003 and obtained her master’s degree from the Middle East Studies Programme of METU in 2006. She has worked for more than 10 years in the financial and administrative management of humanitarian aid projects in Turkey and several countries in Central Africa and Southeast Asia. During this period, she contributed to the development and implementation of projects and programmes in support of the community-based disaster management, disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change. She has been working as the TEVMOT Project Associate for the Climate Change and Environment Portfolio of UNDP Turkey Office since 2017.
Alperen KAMİLOĞLU
Mr. Kamiloğlu has graduated from both the Business Administration Department of Anadolu University and the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management of Selçuk University. He has worked as a business manager and in various financial management positions in the private sector, and as an operation and organisation department manager in the tourism sector. He played an active role in the ISO 9001 quality certification activities of a civil society organisation, thus gaining experience in this field.
